Watermelon Food Photography Series

As a food & drink photographer, love photographing fresh produce. There’s something special about using seasonal produce to craft a story. I used watermelon for this series, check it out below and let me know your thoughts in the comment section.

I used color grading for this image, and went a little heavier than usual. I really wanted to have pink tones to go with the gorgeous color of the watermelon. The backdrop I used already had pink tones, so this brought those out even more.

I always make sure to capture as many images as possible in a photo shoot. I especially love macro shots. These can be used as part of diptychs and triptychs to tell a story.

Then, I took the watermelon and made a watermelon, cucumber and mint balsamic salad.
